Account Closure vs Account Deletion

Although both functions serve a similar purpose, they have vast differences, please check below:

Account Closure
When your account is closed due to our self-exclusion and take-a-break options for "My Account Menu" or other means, your access to our services will be blocked but that is temporary.  To enable self-exclusion or take-a-break options, you can go to My Account >Profile > Player Protection and enable them. Keep in mind you can increase the limit at any time but lowering it is not instant.

Alternatively, you can email us at support@betano.ca with your registered address and request it from our internal team.

Account Deletion
Account Deletion happens at your request:
▪ Account Deletion & Data Deletion - Your account will be deleted, and you won't be able to log in again or create a new account. Your data will be erased according to our retention Scheme.To perform a deletion request, you will need to place an official account closure request by sending an email to dpo-office@betano.ca from your Betano Registered email, mentioning your username.
